“I passionately hate vroom. First of all, the warranty is fairly short. I had an issue come up before my warranty even expired and they refused to pay for it. In the short time that I have had this car, coolant liquid and gas has leaked into the engine causing my engine to overheat and hazardous driving conditions, my tires have torn (they sold the car with extremely damage, worn out tires), and my window regulator has failed causing my passenger side window to fall into the door. Unfortunately, prior to having this car I had little knowledge on cars and couldn’t have seen this coming. They basically sold me a car for 15,000 that was falling apart. don’t buy from them. Also, after signing your paperwork, expect to wait at least a month to even get your car.”

“Great experience. The car was at perfect condition and the price very good. The whole process was smooth. They even matched the loan rate that my credit union was giving me, which simplified the paperwork. Way better experience than going to a dealership.”

“I started this car buying with Vroom 12/05/23 it was pretty smooth until they got my down payment of $2600, it has been a Downhill from then no-one can give me a straight answer and its frustrating now I'm like a ping pong ball, I call vroom they are stating that my application is with the Funding department , I call the funding department they say the application is with the funding department and they stating that they are still waiting for prove of employment and haven't heard anything from my employer. so I asked what can I do on my end to make the process go faster. the lady stated nothing can be done the process When I call vroom they cant find my account WHAT IS GOING ON!!!.. I'm out $2600 and I cant get a straight answer this back and forth is very frustrating especially if you have very rude people working for Vroom!!!”

*“I must say the process of no hassle of going to the dealer it's the worst with vroom.i will prefer doing business with a dealer next. the only thing they did good was given me a great offer in the trade in everything went downhill when I was told they don't send you the registration, which that's a problem at my job due to I'm not allowed to have temporary plates. I'm made several attempts to obtain the title and they informed I must declined the 7 day 250 policy. I first agreed but they didn't send the title. upon reviewing the 2022 Acura mdx there was a bad odor of cat urine in the passenger seat and also a tire was missing a big chunk of rubber on the side of the wall. vroom contacted me and declined to fix the tire which is safety concern to me and my family if it blows out while driving. the carpet they did offer a cash for shampooing the vehicle which I accepted. I have yet to receive my title. I have sent out numerous emails and no response. I do not recommend vroom..big mistake on my behalf..”

“Absolutely horrible experience. I was given the run around from the very beginning. We were told if we put a 249$ hold on a vehicle we could get it back if we decide we don’t want it. After a couple days we found a way better car for a better price and monthly payments. We called on Saturday 11/18/23 to cancel our purchase and to get our money refunded. We didn’t sign any electronic contracts that came through. We were told we were able to get our money back in 24-72hrs. Monday comes and we get an email saying that our signatures were received via fedex (we got nothing in the mail). This morning we get electronic contracts again (still didn’t sign them). I sat on hold for over an hour. Was told the original person I was speaking too would be right back. After 25 minutes I was transferred to someone completely different who then states that my contract was just canceled and I have to wait an additional 72 hours to get my refund after waiting over 72 hours. I am constantly being given the run around and different answers from everyone. And the “refundable deposit” definitely does not seem refundable and you literally have to fight for it.”
