Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 22, 2026

This policy explains how Bold Auto Transport LLC (“Bold,” “we,” “us”) handles information when you visit boldautotransport.com, request a quote, book or track a shipment, communicate with us, sign an agreement, make a payment, or otherwise use our services.

Information we collect

  • Contact and shipment details: name, email, phone, pickup and delivery locations, dates, vehicle details, transport preferences, and notes you submit.
  • Order and service records: quotes, agreements, signatures, assigned-carrier information, Bills of Lading, uploaded documents, payments, refunds, support requests, and call, text, or email history.
  • Website and attribution data: IP address, device/browser information, meaningful funnel or offer activity, referrer, landing page, browser/session identifiers, and advertising or campaign identifiers such as gclid, gbraid, wbraid, fbclid, fbc, fbp, msclkid, and UTM values.
  • Meta Instant Form data: responses you submit in a Facebook or Instagram lead form, together with its form, campaign, ad set, and ad identifiers.
  • Payment data: our payment provider processes card details. Bold receives payment tokens and transaction records but does not intentionally store the full card number or security code on its web servers.

When information is collected

We collect information when you enter it in a form, complete human verification, request or accept a quote, communicate with us, upload a document, sign an agreement, make a payment, or interact with a shipment. The quote funnel may securely save a completed request in the background after the required contact, route, vehicle, pricing, and CAPTCHA fields are complete; the form displays the Terms, Privacy, and communication notice before that step.

How we use information

  • Provide estimates, arrange transportation, manage carrier assignment, process payments, and support or track shipments.
  • Send service communications and, where permitted, marketing communications; maintain opt-out and suppression records.
  • Prevent fraud and abuse, secure our systems, troubleshoot failures, maintain audit records, and comply with legal obligations.
  • Measure advertising and website performance, attribute leads to campaigns, and improve our forms and services.

Cookies, analytics, and advertising

How analytics and advertising storage behaves before you answer our privacy notice depends on where you are. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland it stays denied until you accept. Elsewhere, including the United States, it is enabled until you opt out, which is the standard practice under state privacy laws that treat advertising as something you may decline rather than something you must first permit.

Either way, first-party cookies whose names begin with bat_ may store click identifiers, UTM values, the landing page, referrer, and pseudonymous visitor/session identifiers for up to 90 days. We use Google Tag Manager and Meta Pixel for this. Google Tag Manager loads with advertising and analytics storage set according to the rule above; Meta Pixel loads only after an explicit acceptance, in every region. Opting out stops future collection and deletes the identifiers already stored. You may change your choice at any time using Privacy Choices.

The quote form separately asks whether we may send hashed contact details and quote or shipment outcomes to Google and Meta for campaign measurement and more relevant advertising. That permission is optional and is not required to receive a quote or buy transportation. Browsers that expose Global Privacy Control or a Do Not Track value of 1 are treated as an opt-out: optional consent remains denied, Meta Pixel is not loaded, and Bold attribution cookies are not created. Essential security, CAPTCHA, transaction, and requested-service functions may still operate.

How we disclose information

We disclose information only as reasonably needed for the purposes above, including to assigned motor carriers and drivers; payment processors; CRM, communications, email, SMS, call, hosting, security, document, analytics, advertising, and support providers; insurers or claims contacts; and government, legal, or dispute-resolution recipients when required or appropriate.

Current service categories include Authorize.net for payment processing, Google services and reCAPTCHA, Meta, Slack for internal lead notifications, Aloware for communications, Mailgun for email delivery, and infrastructure providers. These providers handle information under their own terms and privacy practices.

We do not sell personal information for money. Advertising and analytics disclosures may be considered “sharing” or a “sale” under some state privacy laws even when no money changes hands. Use a supported Global Privacy Control signal, decline the privacy notice, or submit an advertising opt-out request.

Text messages, calls, and email

When you provide contact information and request a quote or service, you consent to communications about that request or shipment, including automated calls or texts where disclosed. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to a text to opt out of further texts and HELP for help. Use an unsubscribe link where included in marketing email, or contact us at the address below.

Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain transaction and audit records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, honor opt-outs, and meet legal or accounting obligations. Retention varies by record type. We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information, but no internet or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices and requests

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of personal information, or to opt out of certain advertising uses. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where an exception applies. You may submit a data-deletion request, use our advertising privacy-choice form, or update shipment information through your coordinator.

Children

Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Policy changes

We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. The “Last updated” date identifies the current version. Material changes will be posted on this page.
