Top-Rated Missouri Auto Transport Company

Moving your vehicle in and out of Missouri (MO) requires the right auto transport service. Various needs, such as relocation, shipping classic cars, and dealership vehicle transport in MO, are catered to by Missouri auto transport services. Of these, Bold Auto Transport is one of the more reliable options among Missouri car transport companies for hassle-free vehicle shipping, with instant quotes and great customer service.

Shipping a Car To or From Missouri

Missouri car shipping means moving a vehicle to or from any city in the state with a licensed, federally authorized carrier rather than driving it yourself. With St. Louis and Kansas City anchoring opposite ends of the state and major interstates crossing through, Missouri sits at a central freight crossroads with strong carrier availability. People ship when relocating, moving for school, heading on military orders, or buying online.

Short answer: Regional Midwest moves often take a few days, while cross-country routes run roughly a week, depending on distance and carrier availability. Open transport is the affordable standard; enclosed transport suits high-value vehicles. Request a route-specific quote for an accurate price.

Who ships cars to and from Missouri

Relocating professionals around St. Louis and Kansas City, students, dealers, online buyers, and military families near Fort Leonard Wood all ship regularly. The state's central position keeps both metros busy with cross-country traffic.

Missouri routes and timing

Missouri is crossed by I-70 connecting St. Louis and Kansas City, plus I-44, I-55, I-29, and I-35. Metro pickups see frequent carriers, while rural Ozark addresses may need a slightly wider window. Winter weather and occasional severe storms are the main timing factors, and central lanes move quickly.

What to Consider When Shipping a Car in Missouri?

While preparing an auto transportation in MO, there are certain key factors that should be present in mind:

  • Transport Method: Most popular transport options are open and enclosed shipping. Open transport works well for standard vehicles and is the cheapest. Enclosed transport is mainly designed for high-value, classic, or luxury cars, protecting them from environmental elements and flying road debris.
  • Carrier Availability: Be sure that your transport company has availability to match the timing you need for shipping. You'll want to book in advance to make sure you get a spot, especially during peak times.
  • Insurance: Verify with the carrier that you have adequate insurance coverage. Knowing what kind of insurance is provided, you can just relax while your vehicle is being moved around.
  • Customer Reviews: Research customer testimonials and reviews to learn about the reliability and good service which one might expect from the transport company. Positive feedback from previous customers might let one know what to expect.

Very professional service! I was unsure of who to look for with transporting my new Toyota Tacoma. I had never done anything like this before, so I was very much confused. Bold reached out to me and walked me through the whole process in a simple explanation. The agent who I worked with Andrew, was very helpful and ensured that my truck was transported safely and on time. They kept me up to date with any delays. Not to mention the estimate they gave me was very affordable too! I would gladly use the services of this company again. The agent and driver were both very professional and courteous. Thank you!

Great price. I do hate all the texting even though I can text. Theres a lot of money being spent here and a valuable piece of property being transported a simple phone call would do. Would have given them a 5 but my transport pushed back because of driver issues. But then got delayed because of a ice storm. Had it not been for the driver issue it never would have been delayed by the weather. That was not big issue for the rating the big issue was that i had to contact them to find out that the weather shut things down and delayed the transport after waiting a day or so

FAQs

Missouri Car Shipping FAQs

How much does it cost to ship a car to or from Missouri?

It depends on distance, vehicle size, open vs enclosed transport, whether the vehicle runs, your locations, and demand. Missouri's central crossroads location often means good availability and competitive pricing - request a route-specific quote for an accurate number.

How long does Missouri car shipping take?

Regional Midwest moves often take a few days; cross-country routes usually run about a week. Exact timing is confirmed when a carrier is assigned.

Is open or enclosed transport better for Missouri?

Open transport is the common, cost-effective choice. Enclosed transport is better for luxury or classic vehicles that need extra protection.

Can I ship a non-running vehicle to or from Missouri?

Yes. Inoperable vehicles can ship with special loading equipment such as a winch - disclose it when you request a quote so the right carrier is dispatched.

Can I leave personal items in the car during transport?

It is best not to. Carriers move vehicles, not household goods, and loose items add weight and risk. Remove valuables and toll tags before pickup.
