How Military Car Shipping Works

Military moves come with their own logistics. PCS orders, report dates, housing that isn't ready yet, a spouse moving separately — we handle all of it. Here's how the process breaks down for the most common military scenarios:

PCS (Permanent Change of Station) Moves

You receive orders, you need your vehicle at your new duty station, and you don't want to burn leave days driving cross-country. We pick up your car at your current base or residence and deliver it to your new location. Book as soon as you have your orders — even if dates aren't final. Your coordinator will adjust the schedule if anything changes.

Deployment Transport

Deploying and need your vehicle shipped to a family member or into storage? We'll pick it up near your installation and deliver it wherever it needs to go. When you return, we can ship it back to you.

OCONUS to CONUS Returns

Coming back stateside from Germany, Japan, Korea, or Hawaii? Once your vehicle clears the Vehicle Processing Center (VPC) at a U.S. port, we handle the domestic leg. We'll pick up from the port and deliver to your new base, home, or any address in the lower 48.

Military Reimbursement

For PCS moves, the military typically reimburses vehicle shipping costs. Contact your installation's Transportation Management Office (TMO) or Personal Property Shipping Office (PPSO) before your move to confirm what you're entitled to. We provide itemized receipts, Bills of Lading, and all documentation formatted for military reimbursement. For DITY/PPM moves, keep all receipts — they'll be part of your claim.
